Safe testing method:
1. Never put unknown lists as your main portal
2. Use a secondary portal or test application if possible
3. Check buffering, channel loading speed, and EPG
4. Test at different times of the day (peak hours matter)
Red flags:
- List asks for your MAG MAC before giving access
- Too many dead channels
- Constant buffering even on good internet
